PATIENT TESTIMONIALS

“The best dental office experience I’ve ever had. I am very frightened of the dentist and everyone from the receptionist to the dentist made me feel very comfortable and free from worry. The staff also provided me with a very comprehensive plan of dental work I needed. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone.”

You are greeted by friendly faces and they know you by name. I would recommend this dental office to everyone. They truly care for their patients and want you to feel at home!”

- Ashley

“Amazing friendly staff! They make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in… and as you walk out they have cookies and coffee waiting for you! They are very wonderful and the price is very fair… if you haven’t been to the dentist in a while- this is the office to start going again. I highly recommend them!”

CEREC

CEREC is a CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) system that lets us make your dental restorations right in our office instead of sending them to a lab. Dr. Grimshaw uses a computer scanner to construct a 3D model of your tooth or teeth to be restored. Then she uses the computer design the restoration. When she is satisfied with the design, the system carves the restoration from a block of advanced ceramic.

This means that you can get most restorations made in just one visit. Dental crowns, veneers, even dental bridges made while you wait. No need to wear a temporary that doesn’t look as good and might fail early. Plus, CEREC gives Dr. Grimshaw complete control over the restoration, so she can ensure it fits and matches precisely. And if there is a problem, you don’t have to wait for a lab to fix it, Dr. Grimshaw can do the new restoration just as fast.

These restorations are highly durable, with studies showing great survival rates for up to almost 30 years!

Dental Implants

Dental implants are an exciting approach to replacing lost teeth. A dental implant anchors in your jawbone, very similar to your natural teeth. When we use the implant to anchor replacement teeth, the replacements look and function just like natural teeth. People won’t be able to tell you have replacement teeth, and you can bite and chew normally. These teeth won’t come out when you talk, yell, laugh, or sneeze.

Implants are very versatile. We can use them to replace one tooth, a few teeth, or even all your missing teeth. And thanks to full arch restoration techniques, we can give you a full set of replacement teeth in just one day. That’s right, there’s no need to get an implant placed, then wear a denture for months while the implants heal. You can get attractive, functional implant-secured replacements all at once–on the same day your natural teeth are removed!

And dental implants don’t require special care. You just brush, floss, and make your regular dental appointments. If you do that, your implants can last a lifetime. Studies show that implants can easily last up to 30 years, and some individuals have had implants for over 50 years!

Gentle Dentistry

At Kuhn Dentistry, we know our patients are our neighbors, and we treat them like our family. This means making sure that everyone not only gets great results, but has a great experience, too. That’s why we’re committed to the principles of gentle dentistry.

Gentle dentistry starts when you enter our practice. You are greeted as a human being by someone who knows you. We work hard to make sure our lobby is comfortable and welcoming, more like a spa than a dental office.

When you get dental treatment, we also work hard to make sure you’re comfortable. This includes physical comforts like blankets and noise-canceling headphones and mental comforts like always answering your questions with clear, straightforward explanations. And it means explaining everything we’re about to do. Both our dentists pride themselves on having as gentle a touch as possible, but we can also work out signals that let you request a pause whenever you need one. And for people with serious dental anxiety, we offer sedation dentistry.

We strive to offer a dental experience like no other in the region, one that comforts even the most anxious dental patients.

If you are looking for a dental practice that offers not just advanced dentistry, but comfortable and welcoming dentistry, you’re looking for Kuhn Dental Associates.
